In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Mercury Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer I. This position performs very detailed functions associated with front and back-end manufacturing to produce mission critical products and devices.
You are responsible for:
- Performing Electrical and Environmental testing on a variety of RF products such as LNA's, SSPA's, Filters, Mixers and VCO's in the frequency range of DC to 40GHz
- Participating in continuous improvement and team building activities
- Maintaining productive working relationships with all team members
- Following all recommended safety measures
- Working independently as a project lead for complex acceptance and qualification test programs to ensure program deadlines are met
- Generating technical reports and procedures for Management and Customer use
- Working off-site in accordance with the program requirements
- Working a flexible schedule to accommodate program needs
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 2 years of experience required or a Bachelor's Degree
- Strong fundamentals in AC/DC electronics
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Proficient with PC's and Microsoft Office
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Able to obtain a DoD US Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of software programming (Macro generation, HPVEE, C#)
- Understanding of test equipment such as DC power supplies, DMM, RF signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers
- 2 or more years of RF fundamentals including but not limited to: Bandwidth, Insertion Loss, Gain/Power, Compression, Intermodulation, Signal Modulation, AM/PM Noise
- Proficient in reading process documentation (Assembly drawings and BOMS)
- Ability to multitask/manage workload efficiently
- Active Secret Clearance
Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $61,000 - $100,000 for a Technical Individual Contributor I at Oxnard CA USA.
The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees.
