Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
- This position is responsible for the continued development of existing and/or new Oracle Financial Management, Oracle Planning, Data Management, and pod applications required to support alignment of systems with organizational needs. Additionally, this resource will serve as a support to the team and leaders during major financial processes.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as a well-rounded resource with basic experience across the EPM stack of applications to facilitate application development.
- Ability to follow and take notes on design discussions for prospective smaller project based work, mostly enhancement to existing systems.
- Day to day oversight of multiple Oracle / Hyperion EPM applications with an emphasis on artifact build, managing metadata and date and administering security.
- Assist with database and application administration, including application performance testing and tuning, backup and recovery, and monthly maintenance patching.
- Serve as a liaison between the workday team and the system network teams to ensure collaboration where required.
- Solid documentation and organization skills – ability to take basic to complex requirements and efficiently summarize them into actionable items.
- Ability to support system upgrades and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ability to support multiple concurrent environments.
- Conduct administrator and user acceptance training upon system upgrades and patching.

Work Experience
Minimum Years and Type of Experience
1-2 years’ experience working with most or all of the following: Oracle EPM Cloud Applications, Cloud Data Management, Hyperion EPM Suite including Essbase, HFM, Planning and FDMEE.
Microsoft Office Suite
At least 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Excel, Email, Word, Access, Powerpoint, etc.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. You must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess strong public speaking skills.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred
Experience participating in at least one EPM system implementation.

Hard/Tech/Clinical Skills:
- Proficient Communication Skills – able to speak and troubleshoot with end users on system related questions
- Microsoft Office – Specifically Excel
- These include basic Excel skills, utilizing formulas such as Vlookups, creating pivot tables, organizing data and SmartView adhocs
