Performs scheduling duties correctly and in an appropriate, timely manner. Compliance Check orders for medical necessity utilizing ABN Policy and Procedure guidelines. Demonstrates the ability to use Computer Program to schedule procedures. Takes physician orders and transcribes accurately. Distributes forms related to scheduling appropriately. Maintains organized files. Calls physicians as needed and has all required information available. Charting reflects necessary interventions taken. Demonstrates skill in priority setting. Demonstrates ability to identify tasks which need completing. Excellent telephone, computer and customer skills. Maintains patient/professional confidentiality. Displays positive attitude and adaptable to change. Competent to provide services to patients of all ages. Provides age specific knowledge and skills where applicable for scheduling procedures. Reflects Mercy Values. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

- Education: High School Graduate
- Experience: Scheduling Experience Preferred
- Other skills & knowledge: Excellent customer service skills
