Job Summary: We are seeking a tech-savvy financial analyst to prepare, analyze, and summarize cash positions, financial results, and forecasting and budgeting models to assist management with financial decision making. Data visualization skills along with experience in Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI or Tableau (or any combination)are highly desirable.
Pay: $31.25-33.66/hour DOE Sign On Bonus

Duties:
- Prepares, populates, and maintains monthly and quarterly forecasting models for Mercy Housing (MHI) and the regions. Prepares management reports to summarize all completed forecasts and conducts analysis of the completed forecasts.
- Supports the annual corporate budgeting process. Provides assistance in preparing detailed budget reports for the individual regions and on a consolidated basis.
- Prepares and analyzes cash projections to identify trends and variances from forecasts for MHI and the regions. Conducts similar analysis for properties and other entities when requested.
- Participates in ad hoc analysis as requested from the team members and manager.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
- Experience with data visualization, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI or Tableau (or any combination) highly desirable.
- Experience working with large datasets (mining, modeling, manipulating, and reporting)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Make independent decisions with minimal supervision.
- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and computerized accounting applications.
