It is the sole provider of obstetrical services along with the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County. In addition the hospital’s network of care includes Mercy Home Health and Hospice and Dignity Health Connected Living. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Incumbent assumes the primary responsibility for collecting, reviewing, entering and coordinating data on appropriately defined cancer patients into the registry system. Incumbent collects data in conjunction with the standards of the American College of Surgeons for research, epidemiology and quality improvement of the Cancer Program. In addition, incumbent acts as the liaison with the Cancer Program Representatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year recent work experience with C/NET computer system experience required
- Incumbent must be a Certified Cancer Registrar, either currently, or within 24 months of accepting position
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer candidates who have a Bachelors degree in a related field and with experience in a healthcare environment
