Creative Manager Multimedia

We're seeking a Creative Manager Multimedia who will focus specifically on managing and executing media-related creative milestone moments, campaigns, and projects. Their role involves working with stakeholders and activating the Mercy Ships story on media channels, platforms, and any relevant formats to develop and implement effective media strategies that align with the brand's objectives.

• Project Planning: Is responsible for developing comprehensive project plans that outline project objectives, scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Resource Allocation: Ensures that the necessary resources, including human resources (both at the ISC and on Mercy Ship vessels), budget, and materials, are allocated appropriately to support the successful execution of the project. They coordinate with team members, department heads, and external partners to secure the required resources.
• Timeline Management: Managing project timelines is a critical responsibility. They create project schedules, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time. If necessary, they identify and address any delays or bottlenecks, and adjust the timeline accordingly.

What's needed for this position:

• Prior experience in a role as Creative director, Multimedia Producer
• Experience in leading own team and production team
• Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 5 years’ experience in communications/media production.
• Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.

What You Will Contribute:

• Work with sponsors, customers, Information Services staff and other stakeholders to define requirements.
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine functional requirements, possible solutions, alternative approaches and related impacts.
• Research and recommend solutions to business problems according to the defined requirements.
• Identify and advance solutions that support the established and a desired future enterprise architecture.
• Effectively communicate current state and potential future state scenarios to sponsors, customers, project team members and stakeholders
• Lead customer interviews and business analysis sessions
• Support project management activities with the necessary documentation to initiate and execute successful projects.
• May be assigned to a project team for execution on a project.
• May lead a team of business analyst on large projects requiring multiple business analysts.
• Mentor more junior business analyst
• Create system design proposals.
• Create models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the project team.
• Other duties as assigned.

To perform this position, you’ll need:

• Natural interest to follow trends and with a strong background in brand storytelling using writing, photography, and film.
• A heart for brands and the knows how to translate the existing brand strategy into brand activation through compelling asset creation.
• Excellent project management skills to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
• Experience in a creative role and capacity to introduce innovation.
• Experience in leading a team of creative people and make them perform.
• Knowledge of Creative Suite, including but not limited to Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience with creative media skills for writing, journalism, filmmaking, photography, design, motion graphics. etc
• Collaborates closely with 16 national offices, the Africa Service Center in Dakar, the communication team on both vessels, other internal departments and the Global Brand Team.
• Ability to multi-task, extreme attention to detail is needed and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of best content distribution and knowledge of media channels (digital, tv, print, social, and mail).
• Experience with social media platforms (backend) such as hootsuite, emplifi, etc.
• Experience to read and apply media analytics and data analysis to maximize performance.
