Overview:

Provide direct patient care and clerical duties in the role of a Multi-Proficient employee. Provides initial contact with persons entering Emergency Department. Assists RN and PA with triage and initial care needs. Assists RN with direct patient care. Responsible for patient registration. Responsible for Out Patient Testing Registration. Participates in patient billing by entering data, analyzing the data, and determining appropriate charges. May participate in First Aid Responder programs at outlying casino campuses. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.

• Experience: 1-3 Years

• Certification/Registration: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider.

• Other Skills and Knowledge: Keyboarding, basic computer skills.
