Overview:

The Forensic Interviewer is responsible for conducting neutral, fact-finding, and legally defensible interviews using the ChildFirst protocol with children who are suspected victims and/or witnesses of maltreatment at all CAMCAC locations. He/She works directly with members of the multidisciplinary team and will regularly participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings. The Forensic Interviewer provides testimony in a variety of court hearings.The Forensic Interviewer regularly
Participates in peer review, case review, and maintains up-to-date client records.

Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

  - Conduct neutral, fact-finding,and legally defensible interviews using the ChildFirst protocol at all CAMCAC locations

  - Work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings

  - Work in collaboration with Prosecuting Attorney to provide testimony for Criminal Court, Juvenile Court, and Administrative Hearings

  - Participate in in-house, state and national peer reviews

  - Maintain up-to-date client records in Collaborate and report statistics monthly

  - Participate in case reviews

  - Respond to emergent on-call needs

  - Assists with other duties as assigned
