Overview:

Qualifications:

Education: HS diploma and technical training or experience in the following (or similar) fields: HVAC (preferred), Steam, Electrical, construction.
Licensure: HVAC or Electrical License (Preferred)
Experience: 2 years or - depending on education or experience.
Certifications: HVAC, Electrical, plumbing etc as determined by management and or needs of the department.
Other: 1) Great customer service skills required to provide the best service to patients, their friends and families. 2) Aptitude to work within a building maintenance evironment. Such skills include and are not limited to HVAC, Electrical (to 480VAC,) Plumbing, Kitchen Equipment, Painting, Light Carpentry etc... 3) Computer skills necessary to work within a buildinig automation system, computerized maintenance management software,and Microsoft office products. 4) Multitask and priortize work to provide a safe, effective and effecient hospital environment. Must be able to stop in the middle of one task and focus on another task that may emerge throught the work shift.
