Overview:
The Office Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day management of the front office co-workers; ensuring adequate coverage at all times, participating in annual performance reviews with the Practice Manager, training new front office co-workers in addition to on-going training for existing co-workers, assist with the development of appropriate front desk policies and procedures as well as performing all front desk duties such as registration, answering/triaging of phone calls, appointment scheduling, form completion, surgery scheduling and precertification. Functions as the EPIC Superuser for front desk duties. Works in conjunction with office coder/biller and Practice Manager to complete all practice work queues; charge review, follow up, credit, registration and billing errors, and VBO to clinic communication WQs (2261, 2580, 2598). Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIRED
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum five years health care experience
PREFERRED
- Experience: Previous lead or supervisory experience
- Other skills & knowledge: Experience with CPT/ICD coding and managed care billing
