Mercy Clinic General and Specialty Surgery is recruiting a 7th surgeon! The ideal candidate has a diverse skill set in comprehensive general surgery as we perform a full spectrum of cases. The group covers an extensive patient population of over 1M lives and a network of over 200 local primary care for constant referrals. Our group performs B&B general surgery, minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic, robotic, bariatrics, colorectal, breast, and more. A separate team of trauma/critical care surgeons cover trauma, acute and emergent surgery, and ICU for our level 1 trauma center.
The group practices at Mercy Hospital Springfield, an 877-bed hospital and a tertiary center for Southern Missouri and parts of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Mercy offers state-of-the-art equipment and facilities including large ORs and significant investment in new technology with four da Vinci robots including one at our outpatient surgery center. We have 22 main hospital ORs plus an additional 8 in the surgery center for cases and block time.
