Overview:
The Medical Radiation Physicist is to be trained and competent in all areas of radiation oncology physics, radiation safety, treatment planning including but not limited to conventional, IMRT, IGRT, Rapid Arc, SBRT, Respiratory Gating, Gamma Knife Stereotactic radiosurgery, and Brachytherapy (HDR and LDR). The Radiation Medical Physicist will support the Mercy Hospital OKC Radiation Safety Officer.
Sign-On Bonus: $10000
Qualifications:
- Experience: Will be qualified to assume the responsibilites of radiation safety officer for the hospital and its entities.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a Clinical Medical Physicist is desirable.
- Required Education: MS or Ph.D, in Medical Physics or a closely related field.
- Certifications: Certification with the American Board of Radiology and/or the American Board of Medical Physics.
- Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
