The Registered Nurse-GN works under the supervision of the Manager, Administrative Supervisor and/or Director/Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures.

Mercy has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
- $10,000 Sign on Bonus
- Mercy Loyalty Pay Program. RNs are eligible for $2.00/hr increase at 2, 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of services with Mercy. Part-time RNs get $1.00/hr.
- Up to $600 for NCLEX review

- Up to $370 per month directly towards loan payments ($20,000 cap)
- Must start with Mercy within 12 months of graduation date.
- 24 hours of PTO (frontload) available after department orientation
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education
- Shift differential $2.74 evenings/$5.49 nights/$2.20 weekends
- Health/Dental/Vision available day one

The Registered Nurse-GN works under the supervision of the Manager, Administrative Supervisor and/or Director/Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Licensure: Must have completed requirements for nursing degree and sit for board exam. - Experience: Minimum of less than one year experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale and PALS before taking care of patients independently
- Other: Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are required, and must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine. It is the expectation that the scope of this role will include duties and responsibilities at Mercy Hospital Carthage and Mercy Hospital Joplin as needed. All Standards, Requirements, Training, Qualifications, Competencies, and Job Responsibilities stated here are assumed for all locations worked while under the capacity of this role.
