What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor-Monitor Technician position at Mercy?
The supervisor will assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and personnel. Serves as a clinical resource for staff. Functions as a monitor technician or Sitter in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties as delegated by the manager/director.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of monitor technician experience strongly preferred. Will consider previous healthcare and/or leadership experience in lieu of direct monitor technician experience
- Certifications: CRAT certification within 1 year of hire/promotion. BLS within 90 days of hire/promotion
- Other: Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities. Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
