Overview:
Assures the delivery of safe, quality and cost-efficient care by competent staff members in Mercy Oklahoma City hospital and clinic settings. Ensures efficient utilization of available resources and meets productivity and/or financial goals. Meets customer satisfaction goals. Works collaboratively and effectively with other administrative personnel, physicians, and staff from other areas throughout the Health System to enhance communication, share pertinent data, and improve processes across the continuum. Will oversee the recruitment of physicians, advanced practice professionals, and staff for designated service line specialties (orthopedics, gastroenterology, oncology, pain, etc.) and other areas/duties as assigned. Performs related duties as assigned. Reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Leadership experience in a clinic and/or hospital setting overseeing multiple departments or tenured in multiple departments/AU management. Strong operational business acumen with budgetary responsibility, .
- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school with a Master's Degree in business or health-related field.
- Certifications: FACHE preferred.
- Other: Demonstrates skills in human relations, business analytics, physician recruitment/onboarding, and communication (both written and verbal). Possesses the ability to assess data and assist personnel in providing appropriate level of care. Big picture thinking, systems strategy, change management.
