Job Posting for OD Specialist (16 month Contract) at Mercyhealth
The candidate can either be located at our Rockford or Janesville offices.
Contract until 1/1/2024. 40 hours per week.
Independently facilitates and monitors the effectiveness of training and development programs. Supports the deployment of OD initiatives to achieve Mercyhealth goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess training needs and make recommendations for training and development.
- Assists in the design, development and evaluation of relevant content that participants can apply to the work environment.
- Assists in supporting department and system strategic initiatives that drive results, which includes data analysis, program recommendations and implementation.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with all employees from various levels within the organization.
- Demonstrates effective presentation and facilitation skills in leading learning and development experiences.
- Participates in the onboarding, training and development of leaders.
- Completes all work activities in a professional manner, projecting a positive image of the Mercyhealth organization and maintaining department credibility.
- Demonstrates effective project management and organizational skills that contribute to our culture of excellence.
- Is customer focused in all interactions, maintaining positive working relationships.
- Must be able to travel to all Mercyhealth locations in scheduled time frame to deliver OD interventions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field required.
One-two years’ experience teaching and /or training required.
Prefer experience in healthcare and supervision.
