What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic RN/LPN/MA Orthopedics position at Mercyone Clinton?
The R.N. assumes responsibility/accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment, and other health care team members. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in the maintenance of the patient during the perioperative process. Ages served range from adolescent to adult.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Active registration for Registered Nurse - Board of Nursing, State of Iowa. Illinois license required if working in Illinois.
2. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
3. Experience preferred.
4. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
5. Must be cable of problem solving, critical thinking, and assessment of patient conditions.
6. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
7. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
8. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
