What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Account Rep FT position at MercyOne?
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school education with excellent math skills.
2. Associate degree in a medical or business related field preferred.
3. Two to three years billing or application skills and reconciliation experience preferred.
4. Two years medical office experience required.
5. Billing/collection training.
6. Must have clerical perception of detail.
7. Type 45 wpm accurately, preferred.
8. Experience with database, Word, and Excel software programs.
9. Must have strong oral and written communication abilities and ability to maintain calm professional manner in stressful situation.
10. Accuracy and attention to detail required.
11. Able to use independent judgment, self motivated, organized and able to work independently.
12. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
13. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
