The Program Coordinator/Digital Sales Assistant is the local programming contact and performs duties related to program and contract administration. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintenance of the online and local public file to ensure compliance with FCC requirements.

Perform local programming administration duties such as maintaining contract files, booking memos, SIMS scheduling, and email notifications regarding Network programming changes & syndicated as needed to station departments and HUB. Create and manage contingency plans and alternate programming schedules for all live sports programming. Serve as the key point person regarding all programming questions for all three stations (ABC, FOX, CBS). Monitor network affiliate tools for programming changes (ABC, FOX, CBS). Assist with coordinating syndicated programs, episodes, and contracts. Review and reconcile schedules per discrepancy reports.

Maintains online and local public file to ensure compliance with FCC requirements. Prepares and files FCC Annual Children’s Programming report. Process requests for video licensing agreements.

Assist with Digital advertising – trafficking and coordination as needed.

Education:
Associates degree is preferred with an emphasis in business. Experience and/or other certifications in lieu of education will be considered.
Experience:
Three years of administrative experience is required, and experience in a related industry is preferred.

Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact courteously and effectively with all levels of employees, customers, clients and viewing public.
Must have good problem-solving skills. Adaptable to changing priorities, self-starter, and must meet deadlines.
Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Must be discreet and can handle highly confidential information.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and other Internet, Digital and online tools.
SIMS Broadcast scheduling software knowledge a plus.
