About the Role:
You will be maximizing customer value by improving existing formulas to achieve better efficiency and process reliability through cross-functional partnerships. Among the responsibilities of the role are:
- Optimize formulas: Spearhead formulation revisions based on customer’s needs, production process requirement, regulatory and quality requirement, and alternative raw material supplier etc. Lead benchtop and pilot development and support manufacturing trials.
- Support process improvement of production line: Work closely with gummy operation team and quality team to review and approve deviations timely, and to support trials on process improvements etc.
- Maintain accurate records of all projects: Create and revise Manufacturing Directions; check and approve documents such as Product Label Information (PLI), Nutritional Information and Bulk Specification Forms; prepare technical summary from pilot batches and manufacturing trials.
About You:
- You work with minimal supervision and remain productive
- You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize and have excellent attention to detail
Qualifications for the role:
- You must have a B.A./B.S. degree and 3 years of experience in Product Development/ Manufacturing Technology in the Nutraceutical Industry.
- You have comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in product/process development and processing laboratory techniques
- Experience in Gummy formulation and/or manufacturing is strongly preferred
