Meridian Health Services is currently seeking a Residential Supervisor located in Muncie, Indiana. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the programs at the Meridian Group Home(s). Responsibilities include implementation of groups and services; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; employee schedules, supply inventories, environmental cleanliness and safety, service provision compliance, quality of services, addressing complaints and resolving problems from patients and employees. Some travel is required with this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain budget expectations and revenue goals.
- Evaluate and assess new patient referrals, communicate with treatment team, & other departments.
- Provides individual / group therapy and emergency evaluations. Service provision expectations determined by program and budget requirements.
- Work directly with social security administration & maintain knowledge of FSSA guidelines to update and recertify patients when needed.
- Work directly with Medicare & Medicaid on behalf of patients.
- Direct and train staff to assure compliance.
- Maintain all documentation within the group home(s) to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state fire marshal, & other outside vendors as needed.
- Participate in monthly clinical supervision with treatment team.
- Mandatory on-call rotation required.
- Addressing disciplinary issues; implementing and monitoring corrective action plans
- Overseeing admissions and discharge planning
- Recruiting, hiring, and training of staff/maintaining adequate staffing levels
- Complete payroll functions for all line staff including approving paid time off (PTO) professional development requests and other related expenses.
- Assists in evaluating effectiveness of services.
- Monitors and reports staff compliance with
- Productivity standards and documentation expectations.
- Compliance with CANS/ANSA completions.
- Completing timely and accurate treatment plans.
- Appropriate providers for insurance payer sources.
- In assigning job duties
- In completing staff performance evaluations.
- In corrective action to improve staff performance.
- In addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff, clients and referral sources:

Education and Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma and two years experience required.
- Bachelors degree (BA, BS, BSW) from an accredited four-year college in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, Nursing, Recreational Therapy, Rehabilitation, Music Therapy, Art therapy, Pastoral Counseling, Child Development, plus one to two years related experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a driving record meeting Meridian policy is required.
