JOB SUMMARY:
The moving crew member is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of products from the warehouse to the customer and vice versa as well as maintaining all company assets.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload inventory in a safe and efficient manner, both in the warehouse and at job sites.
- Demonstrate proper furniture handling.
- Assist design installation by performing all installation tasks and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety standards in all areas of the warehouse and at job sites.
- Comply with all company and customer specific policies and procedures.
- Support warehouse functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by following company policies and procedure.
- Enforce adherence to requirements by reporting issues as appropriate and advise management on needed actions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training as required.
- Provide consistent top-level customer service.
- Exemplify the Company values.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by customers.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED or comparable work experience
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated focus on Safety.
- Well-developed Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Must be service oriented and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be organized.
- Able to problem solve and able to work independently.
- Experience using power and hand tools and equipment.
- Familiar with material handling equipment.
Physical Requirements:

Environmental Conditions:
- This position will require the ability to both works indoors and outdoors year-round.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Ability to have a different start time each day that can range from 6:00am - 9:00am, and the ability to work sometimes 10 hours per day.
