Job Summary:
We are looking for a benefits manager to plan and oversee our client’s company's benefits programs. You will be responsible for reviewing and modifying existing programs, ensuring these comply with current federal law regulations, and managing the day-to-day benefits-related activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and modifying existing benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
- Developing and implementing new benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current federal laws.
- Communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Developing profit-sharing, incentive, employee wellness, and performance management programs.
- Managing daily operations related to benefits activities.
- Preparing budgets, reports, and presentations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a benefits manager or in a related role.
- Relevant certifications, such as a CEBS or SHRM certification, preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of benefits programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong people and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
