Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, our Technology team are looking for a positive and proactive Lead Technical Analyst.  This role will be based at our LEGOLAND Florida Resort, working 40 hours per week including some weekends and holidays. 

About the role...

Reporting into the IT Manager, you will provide technical leadership to regional IT teams so that proficient IT support and project delivery can be delivered across the designated region.

You will provide technical leadership across multi-disciplines including and not limited to Windows 10, Office 365, Point of Sale hardware (Aures), Adyen (credit card terminals), Intune, SCCM, Cisco networking, IOS and Android, cloud-based software (Simphony, accesso, infor).

You may also be required to travel to our Midway attractions and deliver project and IT service-related work.  Key Objectives include:

  • Working with the IT Manager to ensure that Technology remains fully available and resilient and that customers / guests have a memorable day visiting our attractions.
  • Collaborating with global teams to identify and fix incidents and to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Ensuring service requests and incidents are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Delivering key parts of major projects on time and to standard.
  • Leading the onboarding of new technologies and become the subject matter expert including writing knowledge base articles.
  • Forming part of an incident response team in the event of a higher priority escalation.
  • Promoting and advocating security and governance policies.


About You…

  • 4 years’ experience working in a 2nd or 3rd line support environment, able to work effectively and communicate with colleagues at any level influencing and guiding users on policy decisions.
  • Tenacious at fault finding and proactive in finding answers and solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • ITIL Foundation.
  • Microsoft365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Certification.
  • Technical Skills – Windows 10, Office 365, Teams/Sharepoint, Intunes, ServiceNow, SCCM, Digital Signage, IOS/Apple, basic
  • Cisco networking and wifi, Point of Sale (POS)/Kiosks.
