LEGOLAND Florida Resort is looking for a Grounds Associate to join the LEGOLAND Florida Resort Team.

 About The Role:

 Maintain the high standard of cleanliness that LEGOLAND Florida Resort has strive to accomplish.

Make safety the number one priority, maintain park cleanliness, and represent the Grounds department as a Park Ambassador.

Main Responsibilities:

·         Sweep and litter pick park walkways as designated and maintain cleanliness of landscaped areas

·         Replaces all paper and liquid products in all park restrooms

·         Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated restrooms

·         Uses liquid and dry detergents and chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing

·         Works under extreme weather conditions

·         Must be able to walk an excess of up to 10+ miles a day and in constant motion

·         Responsible for emptying all trash cans along a designated route and relocating full trash containers to an outside transfer station

·         May have to clean up body fluid spills from park restrooms and other park locations

·         Occasionally use heavy equipment including air blower, power washer and industrial vacuum

·         Must be able to work independently from fellow Model Citizen’s and with little to no supervision

·         May be required to work early morning, late evenings, holidays and weekends to support park operation

·         Must ensure that World Class Standards are met involving Customer Service and guest interaction

·         Follows department established policies and procedures at all times

·         Maintain safety as #1 priority

·         May be requested to assist others departments to promote a team work driven atmosphere

 About You:

 Must be able to work in a very fast paced, multi-task environment with extreme temperature changes.

Must be able to work in an indoor and/ or outdoor, year-round environment with exposure to a variety of changing weather conditions.

 Other Job Requirements:

 Must be able to work during peak times, including weekends, holidays and special occasions to support company operations. Must be flexible to work shorter or longer hours due to business volume.

 Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for long and sustained periods of time.

 Intermittent and prolonged walking to move about the resort site and interact with guests and employees.

Hearing sufficient to communicate with guests and/or employees.
