We are LEGOLAND California Resort - the place where FUN is built and memories are made. Across our Resort we have two fantastic LEGO themed Hotels, a Water Park, a SEA LIFE Aquarium, more than 60 rides and attractions, 20 food and beverage locations, and 14 retail stores – the opportunities here are endless!

What You’ll be Doing…

CREATE THE MEMORY – As part of the Resort Experience team, it is your responsibility to provide or support in providing, entertainment experiences, and engaging interaction to our guests at LEGOLAND® California. Play with guests by creating unique ways to engage, using storytelling and the environment to bring the LEGO brand to life.
SOLVE – Ensure you are knowledgeable about resort operations so you can support guests with confidence and a smile.

Who We’re Looking for…
Resort Experience Operational Support MCs will step into multiple roles and responsibilities.  Qualified candidates will have some or all of the following experiences: entertainment, host, guest service and/or education such as a teacher or camp counselor for K-6 grade.  Qualified candidates will see guest service as a priority, is timely and thorough, comfortable with situational changes and comfortable speaking with guests and fellow team members with confidence and clarity. 

Specific positions within Resort Experience are:

Experience Usher: Provide memorable guest service while engaging with guests as you support guest flow and capacity in assigned venue.
Character Escort: The Character Guide will maintain the quality of the guest experience to the high-level possible while ensuring safety as a top priority. Character escorts assist the Costume Characters as they entertain guests and create memorable experiences.
Costume Character: Serve as an easily recognizable “signature” representation of LEGOLAND® California as a Costume Character. entertaining guests and promoting LEGOLAND® California on a daily basis throughout the park and at periodic on and off- site special events.
Event/Experience Assistant: To provide memorable guest experiences, we must first provide an exceptional operation. This role varies based on the operation need, often requiring constant motion and interaction with guests.
Host: Use your energy and storytelling brilliance to energize the crowd and create memorable experiences as a LEGOLAND® California Resort Experience host.
Education Facilitator: LEGOLAND® California offers several education experiences to our resort guests and organized group bookings. As a facilitator, you will bring education to life through LEGO play in a classroom setting.

Physical Demands:
Intermittent and prolonged standing and mobility around the resort site whilst engaging and interacting with resort guests. Working locations may be indoors and/or outdoors with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
Excellent fine motor skills for LEGO assembly/disassemble.
Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials.
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person, in a theater venue, and by telephone.
Repetitive lifting and moving of a minimum of 30-40 pounds.
Frequent bending at the hip and knees.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, customer-facing, multi-taking environment.

Job Requirements:
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.Minimum of three (3) full days of open availability, with at least one being on the weekend. Punctual attendance is mandatory. Other duties assigned as needed.
