JOB SUMMARY

The Information Technology (IT) Coordinator maintains and improves the technical systems of the company to ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work and the organization’s important files and information remain safe and intact. The IT Coordinator is also an integral part of company system integrations, system security and other material projects.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
• Implement security measures, assess potential risks and technical challenges, and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
• Provide technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
• Maintain and control company software and hardware asset listings.
• Monitor and control expenses within the IT annual budget.
• Assist in development and enhancement of IT systems providing business solutions as applicable.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BS or BA degree in information technology or computer science; additional certification (CompTIA Network ? CompTIA Security etc.) or equivalent experience
• 3 years' experience of working on an IT coordinator or other relevant position preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS

• Profound experience in network management and help desk support
• Good practical experience of managing IT systems and applications? troubleshooting and repairing issues
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities with close attention to detail
• College degree in MIS, Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related field is preferable, certification(s) are a plus
• Must pass state, federal and criminal background check as well as a drug screening
