What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Project Manager position at Meruelo Group?
Meruelo Media is seeking an enthusiastic problem solver who thrive on being engaged in all levels of an engagement. A successful Project Manager must be able to guide internal stakeholders, talent, and clients to ensure both the tone of the engagement and delivery is on track. They must think quickly under pressure, motivate their teams, and own the timely and accurate delivery of engagements. The ability to read between the lines, anticipate issues, and communicate consistently and accurately across various project channels are key requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively and efficiently, plan and prioritize all engagement deliverables and resources working across projects based on scope of work and project goals
- Simultaneously work across several engagements across Programming, Marketing, and Sales
- Manage campaigns and reporting of orders submitted for programmatic buys, audience extension buys, digital marketing campaigns and Google Double Click
- Monitor delivery for digital campaigns and optimize campaigns where needed
- Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated, understood and executed
- Actively monitor project risks and scope to foresee / identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions, refinement opportunities, and deliver improvements
- Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned
- Create, manage, and report on overall project management documentation including project plans and digital reporting
- Work with DSM/AE’s to obtain all elements needed from the client to execute
- Gather requirements for campaign and revisions in Basecamp daily and ensuring that tasks are executed on time
- Maintain quality control on all campaigns, which includes proactive planning on successful delivery of digital campaign with copy, links, delivery
- Assist in trainings for our Marketing, Programming and Sales Teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Project and Inventory management experience is essential
- Quantitative approach to project management, decision making based on data
- Superior communicator with strong interpersonal/collaborative and outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to present and communicate effectively
- Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of highest quality service, and proactively solicit and act on client feedback
- Document and communicate project status and strategic recommendations to clients, team members and senior management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
- Continuously monitor projects status and impact on client relationship
- Proactively forecast our clients’ needs, including identifying and helping to develop new applications to solve their future business needs
- Create and manage marketing/sales decks, proposals, estimates and SOW documentation
- College degree, preferably a BA in Marketing or Business
- 2 to 3 years of experience in project management, sales/media planning or buying experience at an agency/direct advertiser or publisher sales environment
