What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rig Supervisor position at Mesa Group?
Company willing to assist with relocation, housing provided. Providing full crew (Operator, Derrickman, and Floorhands) encouraged.
Will be responsible for the health and safety of all employees who are directly involved with the workover/completion operations. Represents top management of the workover/completion contractor and supervises the operations of several workover/completion rigs in the area. Coordinate upcoming jobs with managers, knowledge of update status of rigs, expected completion of jobs and rigs available, check on well locations, arrange equipment moves, oversee BIG jobs, help with jobs procedures and safety, supervise all yard locations and touch base regularly with Supervisors. Check with company man/consultants on locations to ensure job satisfaction, trouble shoot problems, sales calls, prospective clients and Public Relations (PR) work, consult with managers on cost effective problems and solutions, assist in having tickets signed, monitor supplies, supervise on rigs when necessary, be available to assist manager on weekend and evenings. Must work for safety as a team! Must know his/her job and stay constantly alert to what is going on. Use PPE, use proper tools, and learn to foresee and prevent accidents.
