The Laboratory Analyst - Contract Studies that supports our SDC business has responsibility for initiating and completing contract testing. All work must be performed using company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following GMP and industry standards and protocols.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
* Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, & Cost) targets through a visual work environment.
* Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
* Research, development, evaluation and improvement of methods, processes and/or products with regards to sterilization indicators (i.e. biological and chemical indicators) and related technologies.
* Responsible for development and executing experimental protocols along with supporting internal technology development.
* Lab work and experimentation - routinely work with others to conduct experiments, analyze & interpret data, and communicate results to internal teams.
* Apply scientific fundamentals in a hypothesis-driven environment to guide and support the development of methods, products, and processes needed to promote success at all stages of the product life cycle.
* Communicate technical information to internal teams in the form of oral and written correspondence, presentations, and reports.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or closely related field
* Master's degree in Microbiology or closely related field preferred
* Three or more years' experience in medical device or closely related regulated industry research development and/or lab experience
* Any equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation/Benefits:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.
Hourly rate for this position is $24/hr.
