The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated Estate Planning Specialist to work out of our Highland Park office, to serve as a central resource on estate planning, providing advice and guidance to high-net-worth clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Provide estate planning support to the wealth management advisor teams on structure and strategy
- Serve as a primary estate planning resource to both advisor teams and high net worth clientele
- Research and implement estate planning strategies
- Collaborate with client counsel on estate planning strategies
- Working closely with advisors, prepare for, and attend client meetings
- Develop comprehensive customized estate planning reports and analysis
- Support and educate our wealth management team on any estate planning related topics, including contributing towards client communications
- Perform other responsibilities and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience reviewing, administering, and executing estate planning strategies
- CFP certification and CTFA preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax law and estate planning at the state and federal level
- Exceptional professional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently while being team oriented
- Mid/advanced Microsoft (PowerPoint, excel) skill level
