We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and driven team member to join our expanding company and aid our Senior Messenger Sales executives with managing clients. We are an innovative team of architects, designers, PMs, fabricators, and installers based in Seattle, San Diego, and New York City. We specialize in creative turnkey solutions involving branding, wayfinding, environmental graphics and more. Messenger is unique, and our state-of-the-art design studios are backed by our 50,000 square foot production facility in Seattle, making us a one-stop shop for many of our clients. Messenger Sports is a division of Messenger that is a hospitality-driven solutions platform providing financial strategy for the sports & entertainment industry.
You will be responsible for executing all projects owned by our Senior Messenger Sales executives. You will create an organized system for the execution and communication of all projects, from the handoff of a conceptual project to the installation of the final product and Customer Delight. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, superb organizational skills, and a proven track record of excellent customer-facing interpersonal skills. You will be managing the structure and processes of clients’ jobs and ensuring quick solutions to large problems. This position requires the utmost personal initiative, drive, and loyalty to ensure we make epic things happen.
As a team member, you will be vital in assisting us to build high quality experiential graphics for our amazing clients. A small sample of recent clients include Google, Amazon, and numerous prominent sports teams and venues. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create short- and long-term project schedules, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines & budgets, and allocating resources
- Create and manage project plans, with focus on development of project schedule with critical path elements as well as all related project documentation, including work orders and installation guidelines.
- Manage multiple facets of a job - sign fabrication, installation, and venue operations
- Delegate tasks to employees, vendors, and suppliers
- Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
- Assist the design and sales teams with project scope and goals
- Successfully manage up to $2 million per year in projects simultaneously
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options
- Proactively & professionally communicate with internal teams and external clients to ensure project goals are aligned
- Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the highest standards, work with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment with fabrication and installation requirements, as well as adherence to contractual and budgetary obligations.
- Improvise and adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed while keeping professional, positive, clear & concise communication with clients
- Manage 10-15 projects in different phases simultaneously with different project teams across the country
- Communicate seamlessly with clients with no design background, sign fabricators and general contractors.
- Set up and run client calls with multiple region groups four (4) times weekly
- Compile scope of work and track approvals, budgets, and payments for each project
- Coordinate revenue tracking with accounting
- Lead closeout meetings internally to ensure expectations and margins were met
- Communicate with Messenger Sales leadership multiple times daily by zoom, calls, emails and texts

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 5-7 years of client account management experience within the sign and EG industry
- (preferred) 2-year or 4-year degree
- Experience leading large projects such as large-scale mixed-use facilities, commercial offices, and basic knowledge of stadium, airport, or multiple locations projects
- Outstanding organization and time management skills with an acute eye for detail
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and locations
- Ability to understand and manage the project to contract requirements, meeting all milestones and deadlines
- Experience in sourcing, selecting and managing subcontractors
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, project management tools and software
- Successful experience with securing permits, landlord approvals, and customer approvals; knowledge of local building code, sign code, regulations, etc.
- Works well with a team in a collaborative environment and is equally strong working independently with minimal supervision.
- Organized workflow and drawing files, heavy on the details.
- Able to multi-task and have excellent time management.
- Can strongly and effectively communicate with internal and external clients from both a design and build perspective.
- Successful experience in maintaining project budgetary parameters, the purchase order process, and project billing, including SOV’s and complex progress invoicing
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans and drawing sets
- Basic knowledge and understanding of CRMs and ERPs (we use ShopVOX)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and current driver’s license in the State of Washington
