Enterprise Application Developer

Responsibilities:
- Design, development, testing and deployment of proprietary order-to-cash applications
- Develop to business priorities, standards and end user satisfaction
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to application errors
- Work with project managers and end users to review technical processes with special emphasis on interpreting data & technical requirements from a developer’s mindset
- Work with end users and other IT functions to ensure integration to other template applications e.g. SAP, StreamServe, OpenText Core Archive, Kofax, Kiteworks and others
- Work with other developers and application architects to design new functionality
- Provide first line escalation support of Help Desk calls from end users
- Provide out-of-hours emergency support escalation by working closely with Messer’s partners
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimal 2 years of technical expertise in application development
- Experience in business and systems analysis, database and application design
- Experience in developing applications that interact with SQL databases
- Experience in full project lifecycle and software development lifecycle
- Experience in application support
- Knowledge of business processes, data, applications for bulk and cylinder gases
- Proficiency in scripting languages, with strong emphasis on Windows Powershell required.
- Proficiency in Git source control systems required
- Proficiency in Azure Automation and Azure Storage technologies
- Proficiency in SQL required
- Proficiency in the following technologies is required: .Net, PL/SQL, REST,APIs
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Component DevExpress a plus
- ASP.net development a plus
- C & C# development a plus
- SQL DBA knowledge a plus
