Position Summary
As a Project Administrator, you support the Head of Space Programs in the execution of satellite programs. Initially, this will focus upon establishing the development of space electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) products.
Essential Functions Statements
- Create and manage the company’s supply chain strategy as it relates to procurement, including material and services sourcing, price negotiation, delivery schedules, and logistics
- Support Development of the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to manage and track inventory after it has been delivered and allocated to either specific projects or general inventory
- Manage the high-level schedule for spacecraft development to track internal progress against deliverables and coordinate with procurement to account for lead times and supplier setbacks
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to increase productivity, drive efficiencies, and manage costs, including receiving inspections, product failure resolutions with vendors, and overall procurement process
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies, equipment, and subcontracts
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to all aspects of the supply chain and procurement process
- Provide training and guidance to employees for applicable procurement processes and administer online procurement systems
- Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain inventory and supply chain records
- Cultivate strong relationships and resolve issues with vendors and subcontractors
- Collaborate across the company to create coordinated plans for the development of the supply chain and business growth
- Administrate and create content for the company relating to procedures, resources, and policies
- Build custom business unit processes including tool and workflow development
When Applicable, Assist In:
- Administrating the company timekeeping system in accordance with DCAA regulations, including project assignments, PTO allocation, and timecard approval
- Processing the data from the timekeeping system to generate reports of labor costs after each payroll
- Company credit card reconciliation, including managing the process to ensure compliance by all cardholders, and entering transactions
- Final approval on all expense reports, administrator for the expense system, and processing data for entry into QuickBooks Online
- Coordinating travel for the company and administrating the travel platform; combine travel expenditures into a monthly report for the Controller
- Supporting accounting and the Accounts Payable system, including communication with vendors, invoice entry and processing, and monitoring status of payments

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Rosslyn, VA – hybrid remote and in-office work.

Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or similar field
Experience: 5-7 Years
