Overview
This role is a working manager role responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of the company’s multiple divisions. This includes overseeing the production of financial reporting, profitability analysis, cash cycle, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to safeguard assets, mitigate risk and ensure the accuracy of the company's reported financial results. The candidate should have strong analytical thought processes, exceptional relationship skills, forward thinking, and willing to make an impact by using technologies to reinforce internal efficiencies and provide value added services for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial close, general journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting package.
- Manage analysis of balance sheet accounts, income statement performance, profitability by both customer and product, and other financial analysis as needed.
- Provide transactional process support including but not limited to product cost, revenue recognition, cash management, payables, and receivables.
- Manage, develop, and retain accounting team members for growth opportunities
- Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures and controls.
- Maintain the relationship and manage external auditors for pragmatic solutions.
- Participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with other ad hoc projects.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field.
- CPA and/or public accounting firm experience and exposure to global industrial companies.
- 10 years progressively responsible experience, including managing teams.
- Previous experience working for a subsidiary of an international group and / or experience with Financial Reportings.
- SAP experience beneficial.
- Must have relevant manufacturing experience.
