What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Metalwest, LLC?
Here are some things you'll be doing:
- Securing your loads with straps and tarps
- Loading and unloading material at each stop
- Take safety precautions when weather is expected
- Follow DOT rules for weighing truck, completing DVIR for pre and post trips, and driving
- Inspecting, operating and testing machinery and equipment
- Wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Ensuring that all required paperwork is completed in a timely manner
