Job Description: 

  • Read / understand orders on a daily basis.
  • Build wooden skids.
  • Safely operate radial saw and nail gun.
  • Build and package skids of flat rolled metal for shipping.
  • Operate forklift, man lift, and overhead crane according to Metalwest procedure.
  • Assist in loading trucks.
  • Utilize ERP system to complete paperwork verifying correct shipping.
  • Move material to and from designated areas.
  • Participate in company training on Safety, Hazard Communication, blood borne pathogens, and
    accident reporting, among others
  • Participate actively in LEAN events.
  • Assist other employees as needed.
