JOB DESCRIPTION
- Establish project budget. Maintain and monitor budget during construction
- Review budget with Superintendent and Project Manager/Senior Project Manager/Project Executive for input and revisions
- Develop a Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule for the project
- Review schedule with Superintendent and Project Manager/Senior Project Manager/Project Executive for input and revisions
- Update project schedule at least once per month with input from Superintendent
- Review construction means and methods with Superintendent to improve job performance
- Purchase permanent equipment and material
- Negotiate subcontractor agreements for the project
- Manage and monitor the submittal, shop drawing, subcontract and purchase order processes to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials, with the assigned support of Project Administrator and/or Project Engineer, as may be applicable to the project(s)
- Manage preparation of extra work proposals and change orders
- Monitor budgets, schedules, cost reports and job progress and review with Superintendent on a weekly and monthly basis. Report results to Project Manager/Senior Project Manager/Project Executive
- Visit job site on a regular basis to review effectiveness of site supervision, job progress, quality of work and safety on the project
- Manage change orders, extra work orders, disputed claims, with owner and owner s representative to a successful conclusion
- Resolve disputes with vendor and subcontractor
- Process payment requisitions through the owner and his/her representative
- Keep the senior management staff of the company appraised of job performance and any major conflicts or issues to be resolved
- Generate verbal and written communications required to meet administrative requirements of jobs
- Monitor the planning for safety on the job, application of safety rules, regulations, and programs applicable to individual job sites
- Maintain a positive image of company with vendors, subcontractors, clients and teammates
- Manage one or multiple projects that may account for $5M to $15M in annual volume

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for the oversight of teammates and is responsible for the performance management of those teammates.
Position Type
This is a full-time, exempt position.
Travel
Travel is primarily limited to Northeast jobsite locations.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience within the construction industry required
- A bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree required
- Experience with Procore project manage software, or similar platform, preferred
- Experience with schedule software and logic highly preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10-25 lbs.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Able to function in a standard office setting
