Role Value Proposition:

MetLife is seeking a Senior Technical Functional Analyst with experience in Microsoft Power Platform to join our Corporate Systems Digital Innovation Solutions team.

In this role, you will serve as the product owner of Power Platform, including its suite of emerging innovative products. You will work closely with the product manager to define and develop strategies and a roadmap for the Power Platform within MetLife. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Microsoft, other vendors, and cross-functional teams that support various business areas and technology across multiple regions.

You will be responsible for managing the design and construction of the new Compliance Center, which will be utilized to enforce and automate governance processes. Additionally, you will manage the Center of Excellence, providing support and consultation to onboard various teams onto the platform and oversee the administrative activities of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the product manager and other leaders to shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Partner closely with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Power Platform Administrators, and Developers.
Conduct research and lead proof of concept and pilot projects for new products within the product suite.
Oversee the design and construction of the new Power Platform Compliance Center.
Manage platform governance and administration activities.
Guide and support the onboarding of teams onto the platform.
Direct Power Platform Center of Excellence (COE) activities.
Possess a thorough understanding of the platform's architecture.
Understand how to implement new features on the platform with appropriate guardrails.
Establish standards and guidelines for the platform.
Stay informed and leverage new technologies available on Power Platform.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

3 years of Power Platform experience in an analyst or developer role, with a solid understanding of the platform's architecture and features.
3 years of functional analyst experience.
1 year of product owner experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with various stakeholders.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for continuous learning and embracing challenges.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with modern AI concepts, automation, and robotics.
Proven experience in projects requiring the integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes.

Preferred:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field with 3 years of work relevant work experience
3 years of experience in implementing Power Platform products.
Experience working across various functions, including architecture, development, engineering, and compliance.
Prior involvement in a Power Platform Center of Excellence.
Familiarity with SAFe® Agile methodologies.
Experience utilizing Azure DevOps.
