INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (IM), DIGITAL CLASSROOM SUPPORT - The contractor shall provide Automation Data Support to the AATS for maintenance, repair, and expansion of digital systems and networks. Supports modernization of classrooms, and learning centers associated with the AATS missions. The contractor shall configure and maintain individual workstations through repair and upgrade of hardware and software. Provides maintenance and audio/visual support of AATS classrooms and conference rooms.
Essential Functions Statements
- Duties:
- Provide technical expertise for basic operation of the classroom computers, video equipment, and operation of software to facilitate Aviation training.
- Manage and monitor Network infrastructure and software utilized on the Instructor PC and all classroom PCs (clients).
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of audio, video and computer equipment.
- Receive IT tasks for service of computer Hardware and Software, servicing of GFE within the allowed warranty specifications.
- Maintain, repair and expand the AATS Student Training Local Area Network.
- Create student user accounts within 48 hours of student arrival to an AATS location.
Competency Statements
- Must be competent and experienced as an Information Technology (IT) / Information Management (IM) Professional for Digital Classroom Support.
- Experience as an Army Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) and/or System Administrator (SA) Contractors require Information Assurance (IA) training IAW DoD 8570.01M (C7.3.4.3) and 05-PR-M-0002 Information Assurance (IA) Training and Certification Version 5.0 Corrected Copy (2012).
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in an administrative aviation, clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
- Located on MUIR Army Airfield, Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA the EAATS is a TRADOC OASS certified aviation training institution that conducts ARNG directed flight and academic instruction in the CH-47F and UH-60A/L/M aircraft, enlisted training for cargo and utility helicopter maintainers, and non-commissioned officer professional military education. Additionally, the EAATS provides regional flight simulation support in the CH-47D/F, UH-60A/L/M and the UH-72A simulators for all Army components.

Travel requirements are: Generally, None. However, TDY by exception with COR Approval and Funding
Required Education, Experience and Certificates
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Previous IT, IM, IA experience

- In accordance with AR 25-2 (Information Assurance), refresher training is required for all Information Management (IT) personnel. The Government will fund refresher training based on AR 25-2 requirements.
- Experience as an Army Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) and/or System Administrator (SA) Contractors require Information Assurance (IA) training IAW DoD 8570.01M (C7.3.4.3) and 05-PR-M-0002 Information Assurance (IA) Training and Certification Version 5.0 Corrected Copy (2012).
Certificates and Licenses:
- All contractors performing IA functions will have appropriate IA certifications and background investigations. C10.3 IASAE Level I as minimum. Refer to Table C10.T2 for requirements.
- All new hires appointed to IA positions must be certified (baseline and computing environment (CE) within 6 months. Contractors’ certification and training requirements shall be addressed in all contracts that include acquisitions of IA services.
- The DoD 8570.01M Change 2 paragraph C2.1.7 states: The IA workforce training and certification program establishes a baseline of validated (tested) knowledge that is relevant, recognized, and accepted across the Department of Defense.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
