What You’ll Do
As the Millwright/ Electrical, you will have the opportunity to help our business operate smoothly by installing, dismantling, maintaining, repairing, and moving our machinery and mechanical equipment in our Sacramento, CA facility.
Shift Timings - Mon to Fri from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Lead by example to ensure Metrie's core value is met; P.R.I.C.E (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence)
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches operations manuals, manufacturers, instructions and engineering specification
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, diagnose equipment problems and repair accordingly
- Troubleshoot PLC based automated production line, and diagnose issues with contactors, relays, sensors and motors
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Who You Are
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Must be 2 years of Millwright work experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment or an Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance
- A partially or fully completed Millwright certification, is an asset
- Have a passion for Maintenance/ Electrical and are willing to learn
- Are able to perform physically demanding work
- Understand and can reliably apply all safety policies and regulations
Specific Skills / Trade or Knowledge
Skills:
- Strong organizational, verbal, written and communicative skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of production equipment and best practices
- Well versed in Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical with a basic knowledge of PLC's
- Operate a Forklift
