Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Facilities Management Director to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to lead the Facilities Management Department and ensure the smooth operation of our client's healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide support to various departments including Engineering, Plant Operations, Biomedical Engineering, Grounds Maintenance, and Security.
- Develop and manage fiscal operating budgets and capital expenditure forecasts.
- Collaborate with administration on facility expansion and renovation plans.
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as TJC, CMS, and AHJs.
- Oversee the operation of Life Support systems related to patient safety.
- Coordinate utility source capability for efficient use of services.
- Stay updated on NFPA Life Safety Codes and regulatory building requirements.
- Develop and administer training programs for staff.
- Manage supplies and equipment in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 10 years of hospital facilities management experience.
- Proficiency in TJC and CMS building and safety requirements.
- Ability to develop and maintain a 5-year capital expenditure plan.
- Experience in developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
- CHFM certification or ability to acquire within one year of employment.
- Associate degree in a facilities-related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
