Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing.
- 1 years of experience in all of the following:
- Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
- Home Health Care
- 1 years of experience in any of the following:
- Wound Care
- Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (NJ).
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- RN License Number.
- Specialized certifications (please list).

As a Home Health RN, you will provide skilled nursing care to diverse patient populations, utilizing your expertise in medical-surgical, home health, and wound care settings. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the highest standards of care while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to various age and diagnostic groups.
- Utilize the nursing process for data collection, planning, and evaluation of care.
- Implement preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing interventions.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
- Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
- Record patient conditions and reactions, notifying supervisors of significant incidents.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols.
- Convey pertinent information to the healthcare team orally and in writing.
- Utilize electronic medical records effectively.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Full-time position, onsite.
- 8:30am-4:30pm, with one weekend per month required.
- Coverage areas include Nutley, Kearny, Harrison and surrounding areas.
