We are actively seeking college students who are looking for a Sales Internship position. Metro Sales provides an excellent sales training program.
As a Sales intern, you will be given impactful project-based assignments that directly align with business objectives. Some of the projects may encompass activities like: market opportunity & competitive analysis, Dealer & Customer sentiment, profitability analysis for new businesses, pricing, promotions and events, to name a few.
What You Will Do:
- Work with a supportive, collaborative and fun team of sales professionals.
- Ability to sell value by helping customers envision how technology can save them money and/or increase productivity.
- An affinity for technology so you can use it to solve business problems.
- Telephone prospect in designated territory to set firm times for needs analysis appointments with decision makers.
- Accompany salespeople on needs analysis & demonstration appointments to learn through observation and discussion before and after each appointment.
- Conduct needs analysis, demonstration and closing appointments with their manager.
- Assist and conduct key operator training sessions on new equipment installations.
Required Skills:
- Must be a Sophomore or Junior in college who is highly motivated to pursue outside sales career.
- Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation are key to success.
- High drive/energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making ability.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, e-mail and internet functions.
- No previous sales experience required.
- Proven strength in the following: analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership

- Previous Internship/Co-op experience
- Previous leadership experience in work, organizations, or classroom
