Social Studies Teacher – Metro Schools College Prep
DESCRIPTION: Metro Schools College Prep is a K-12 public charter school located in Minneapolis. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to join our Middle School team. Our ideal candidate will have the following proficiencies:
- MN teaching license in Social Studies
- Ability to individualize and differentiate instruction
- Strong commitment to ensure the academic performance of each student
- Experience in the literacy framework – Document Based Questions
- Superior technology skills that can be applied to individualized learning
- Skills for setting, monitoring and meeting individual and school-wide goals
- Application of successful strategies for parent engagement
- Excellent team and individual communication skills
- Proven experience with a diverse student body
Job Type: Full-time
