Warehouse Associate

The Metro Turf Team is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate! We are looking for an individual to participate in our warehouse operations and activities, in order to help our goal of increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. This new addition will help us maintain our industry best customer service reputation and be a true team player.

Job Details

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Storing materials
• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Create and process shipments via UPS WorldShip
• Create and process shipments via FedEx Portal
• Check-in daily deliveries before departing from Warehouse
• Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment and let the Warehouse Manager know of any issues prior to departing. Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep equipment clean
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload trucks, label, and store in designated areas)
• Perform physical inventory with Manager
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Pick/pack orders for daily shipments
• Ensure timely processing of proper documentation concerning inventory, deliveries, product damage, etc.
• Maintain valid driver’s licenses, forklift certifications.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances affecting this position
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and programs
• Other duties as assigned
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

• Valid Driver’s License
