Senior AI Researcher and Algorithm Engineer

The Senior AI Researcher and Algorithm Engineer will be a key member of our research and development team, primarily responsible for creating sophisticated algorithms and integrating them into reusable libraries. Your work will significantly contribute to automating and enhancing the capabilities of our data products, enabling them to deliver more efficient and accurate results. You will be a key enabler to developing and deploying advanced algorithms that drive AI/ML solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy innovative algorithms in AI/ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into products and services.
• Optimize and maintain existing algorithms for maximum efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to the development of ML Ops infrastructure for seamless deployment and scalability of ML models.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of algorithms to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Document algorithm development processes and maintain a repository of models and code.
• Research, develop, and refine algorithms tailored for AI applications.
• Transform complex algorithms into accessible libraries for use in various data products.
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate libraries into our suite of data products.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in algorithm development, particularly in AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
• Proven experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience using managed services from cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience in SDK design/development and creating/maintaining dependencies.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and algorithm optimization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Snowflake or similar offering.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of data engineering and big data technologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
