We are currently searching for an hourly Out-of-School Time Activity Worker to join our Teen REACH team!
Teen REACH operates during non-school hours and expand positive choices and opportunities for youth while achieving academic success.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and lead one or several activity programs in out-of-school time program.
- Provide a safe, secure, and engaging environment for youth.
- Enter attendance records and other daily or periodic information in participant files as required by program.
- Maintain order in the classroom, and handle standard student disciplinary matters, referring students to TR Coordinator or as necessary.
- Attend staff meetings and other program-related meetings as scheduled.
- Provide feedback to TR Coordinator on participant and activity progress.
- Utilize program curricula and resources as provided in planning program activities.
- Work collaboratively with other program staff.
- Attend training as required to improve essential skills.
- Remain available to work extra hours outside of normal schedule, as circumstances may occasionally require.
- May be required to create and distribute flyers regarding program events to program participants.
- May be required to function as point-of-contact in absence of TR Coordinator.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with agency staff, parents and community partners.
- Available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and some weekends.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
