What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Service Attendant position at Metropolitan Golf Links?
We are a public golf course in Oakland that is currently hiring for Outside Services. The primary functions of this position include, but are not limited to: cleaning and organizing the golf cart fleet, "picking" balls on the practice range, keeping the practice range neat and organized, keeping on-course water jugs filled, and overall help with the day-to-day golf operation. This position reports directly to the Head Golf Professional.
Requirements: reliable transportation, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs., must be available to work early mornings (sunrise), evenings (sunset), weekends, and holidays.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrange carts in the Cart Storage building and Cart Staging area.
- Remove trash and clean all golf carts before each customers use.
- Place scorecards and pencils on golf carts prior to use.
- Maintain each cart’s sand/seed mixture containers.
- Assist with the minor maintenance, repair, and refueling of golf carts.
- Set-up range hitting stations and collect practice balls with designated equipment.
- Clean practice balls and re-stock range machines.
- Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in the Cart Storage, Cart Washing, Cart Staging.
- Handle golf carts and driving range equipment with care and prudence.
- Document all golf cart damage and deficiency.
Education, Experience, and Training:
This position requires maturity, dependability, and good human relations skills. This employee must be able to effectively communicate in a personable and friendly manner to all guests and staff.
