Job Summary

The Partnerships, Impact, and Engagement Specialist will identify and align resources and partnerships in support of the Office of Family & Community Partnership initiatives.

This role focuses on fostering relationships with both internal and external community stakeholders, including partners and donors, to support the success of MNPS students, staff, and families. Responsibilities also include assisting MNPS departments and Support Hub teams to connect partner opportunities and resources to schools and families.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities : List, in the order of importance or time spent, the essential and position specific duties/tasks performed by the position. Essential Duty 1:

Establish, organize, and nurture relationships with community-based organizations, government entities, corporations, foundations, and higher education institutions to strategically and equitably align partners, resources, opportunities, and schools, across all Office of Family and Community Partnership initiatives.

Essential Duty 2:

Leverages a partner management system for tracking and analyzing data, facilitating informed and equitable decision-making, assessing the impact of strategic collaborations, and identifying opportunities for new partnerships to meet the current needs of families and schools.

Essential Duty 3:

Designs professional learning to inform internal teams of MNPS policies and procedures relevant to partner work. Thus, increasing staff knowledge of both existing and new partners, building their capacity to effectively attract, engage, and retain partners.

Position Specific Responsibility 1:

Oversees recruitment and placement initiatives for career-based learning programs, directing marketing and engagement efforts to attract high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

Position Specific Responsibility 2:

Engages with partners to gather insights into their resources and potential contributions, ensuring their offerings are aligned appropriately, and overseeing the distribution and tracking of donations and services.

Position Specific Responsibility 3:

Support with organizing, designing, and facilitating events based on the interests, needs and requests from MNPS internal teams.

Position Specific Responsibility 4:

Analyze survey data to enhance the quality of programs and services offered by partners. Create avenues for partners to provide feedback, contributing to student success and community well-being.

Position Specific Responsibility 5:

Monitor industry trends and best practices in community engagement and donor relations through ongoing research, attendance at events, and networking with peers.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education (training/degree):

A bachelor's degree in Education, Community Development, Public Administration, Communications, or other related field required.

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required:

None

Experience:

Four years of related experience required.

Meal Deduction - Most Bransford office and district level employee have a meal deduction. They are scheduled 8.5 hours per day and get an hour lunch. Itinerants and retirees get a 30 minute lunch period and therefore do not have a meal deduction. All school based employees will not have a meal deduction.Auto Meal Deduction

Travel - Itinerant non-exempt employees who travel will be using the time clock differently than others and are paid for travel time between work locations. Itinerant Employee that travels daily from location to location

Compensatory Time vs. Overtime (Support Non-Exempt Employees only) - Does this department have overtime budgeted, i.e. Maintenance, Transportation, Food Service. If not, employees accrue comp time only. Exempt Employee - can not accrue comp or overtime
